ABHIYUM NAANUM...Finally i gotta chance to witness an awesome father-daughter melodrama..Wow right from the first scene ..,i was awestruck.. no words dipping in my conscience..purely portraying the most DIVINE RELATIONSHIP in the world ..i guess so.Movies of such genre don't get the hype as always..that's the one thing i pity for.. A Dialogue wherein Prakash raj saying "Children grow up..,sometimes parents must too.." is heartfelt.. Story portrays the emotions, the father (Prakash Raj) goes through as his daughter(Trisha Krishnan) blooms from a cute bud into a beautiful damsel and moves on in her life...,,The film
shows the emotions of a over-affectionate dad..sometimes it is hysterical and you feel oh,how did we miss this in our lives..???? And i cannot forget the scene where Trisha says "I Know What I'm doing"..when prakash raj follows her on her way to school the first day she rides the bicycle..So Arrogant and it shows how children today are...?? A fact about the Sardarjis that one can never find a sardar beggar was something new..cool one.. Humor factor was 100 % perfect ..On the whole..Father’s love for his daughter torments him too much as he is not able to let her go away from him. The rest of the story is about how he finally accepts everything! ..This is the philosophy of every loving dad..A reality one cannot refuse..Sometime its skeptical that dad's like these ppl exist still..
This sums it up..my experience with one of my favourite films..Abhiyum Naanum.
